Join us for the 2012 Northstar California Snowshoe Social & Race Series taking place March 17, April 1 and April 7 (Tahoe Rim Tour & Race). The March and April races will feature a 5k, 10k and kid's races.
This race will be a fundraiser for the Tahoe-Truckee Humane Society and participants will be allowed to bring their dogs on the cross-country trails that day only. Check-In/Registration – 7:30-10:30; race – 11:30am

The Burton Creek Trail Run takes place on a beautiful, fun and challenging trail system within Burton Creek State Park. The course features miles of single track through pine forests and high sierra meadows. Burton Creek drains the runoff from Mt. Watson into Lake Tahoe. You’ll see and hear the creek often and June is a great time to see wildflowers.

The Burton Creek Trail Run is part of the TrailRunner Magazine’s Trophy Series. The TrailRunner Trophy Series is a points-based series of 130 trail races in the US and Canada. Anyone who finishes a Trophy Series race is automatically entered.

Event: Expedition Man Endurance Festival ~ Tahoe to Reno/Sparks (Aug 25)

Expedition Man would like to introduce the inaugural Endurance Festival featuring Northern Nevada’s 1st Ultra Distance Triathlon. A unique course that starts swimmers at Zephyr Cove in the beautiful Lake Tahoe, Ca. The 112 mile bike ride will utilizes a variety of Northern Nevada’s scenery including a 1,400 ft elevation drop into Carson City. Three fast out-and-back’s around the Sparks Marina will cap off this extraordinary race.

Event: Off-Road Triathlon - Incline Village, NV (Aug 25)
Time: 8:00 am
This is one of the all time classic XTERRA courses. Racers start with a swim in famous Lake Tahoe. The bike section test racers’ climbing and fitness levels. After the biking section racers transition onto a trail running course that is relatively flat, fast and scenic with tall pines, aspens, and creek crossings.
Course Distance: Full Course: 2X 750 meter swim laps with a 50 meter beach run, 22 mile bike, 6 mile run

This is one of the all time classic off-road triathlon courses.Racers start with a swim in famous Lake Tahoe, one of the purest and deepest lakes in North America. The Flume Trail Off-Road Triathlon & Duathlon will run on the same course as the XTERRA Lake Tahoe. The Flume Trail Off-Road Triathlon is the sprint version of the XTERRA Lake Tahoe.
